Administering the external SMTP host

About this task

Messaging SMTP provides the ability to forward outbound e-mail to an external SMTP relay host.

Note

Configuring the external SMTP host is required to support text notifications.

To add or edit an External Host:

On the Administration menu, click Messaging > Server Administration > External Hosts.
Enter the IP address, Host Name, and Alias of the external SMTP Server.
Configuring the Alias is optional.
Click Save.
